D A Y 16: G L A C I E R P E R I T O M O R E N O

We had a two day stop in El Calefate on our way to Puerto Natales and the W-hike. 

One of the days we went to see the glacier Perito Moreno.

Its one of the world largest glacier, and the only one still growing. You can see and hear it cracking.

Its so cool, its so huge! 

(Costs: 120$ for bus + 100$ for entrance.)

Where to stay (El Calafate):

Close to the busstation, but a few block outside the city centre:

Albergue Hostel, Buenos Aires st.

70$ a night, incl breakfast.

Clean, good wifi, nice. 

Don't stay at: Hostel Hemul. Its only 35$ a night, but its dirty and theres a lot of noise all day/night long. 

How to get there:

Do a daytrip from El Calafate. Which is a 3 hour bus from El Chalten, 120$ or 6 hour bus from Puerto Natales 120$.
