Date: 13 - 18 feb

We spent four days in the jungle/pampas of Bolivia, with Mogli Jungle Tours (www.mogli-jungle.com). These four days was some of the best days in South America so far.

THE JUNGLE
We started the jungle/pampas tour with two days in the jungle, where we made our own camp (when I say we, I mean mostly the guides ;)), we slept on palm leaves, we went fishing, and learned jungle survival secret from Rurrenabaques best guides. We walked through heavy rain and through a meter of mud, we saw a big fat snake and a tarantula. And we went searching for animals in the middle of the jungle, in the dark with only a flashlight. We were even so fortunate as to be standing in one meter of muddy water in the dark, and then spotting a baby crocodile, which of course begs the question "where is the mother"?

THE PAMPAS
After the jungle we went to the pampas for two days. The pampas was like a resort compared to the jungle - we slept in beds and there were electricity.
The pampas was wonderful as well. We swam with pink dolphins, or more played with them, we touched their noses and swam after them, and they swam after us. We feed some cute monkeys, went looking for alligators in the night (and saw three), had a mud war with our guides... and yea just had the best times.

Thank you Feizar, we really wanted to go for a swim in the mud :)
good bye Pampas!

Travel Guide:
We went with Mogli Jungle which I will strongly recommend! They are a bit more pricy than the other agencies, but they are worth every penny! They will do everything they can to make you have the best trip in the jungle/pampas, and we definitely had!
The only thing I regret about this tour is not spending more time in the jungle, two days in now enough!
Thank you Feizar and Kuky for the best trip we could possible have!

How to get there:
Fly from La Paz to Rurrenabaque.
