The famous death road, a must when in South America.

The road used to be the highway between La Paz and Coroico until a new road was built in 2006. Its estimated as much as 200-300 people lost their life on this road every year. Which is how it got its title as "the world most dangerous road".

Cycling the 64km downhill death road is one of the most popular activities in Bolivia. And ofcourse - we had to do it!
