After too many hours travelling from El Nido and Palawan island, we were ready for more days of relaxing, sun bathing, swimming and loading for New Years eve.
Boracay is a small island of the Philippines, known for having one of the most beautiful beaches in the world and world-class kitesurfing. Its really paradise, with its white beaches and crystal clear water.
We were a group of six girls having the time of our life and a great new years eve.

NEW YEARS EVE
My New Years started perfectly with some hours of kitesurfing. Boracay is known as one of the best places in the world to kitesurf, and the conditions are perfect.

Kitesurfers on New Years |
In the evning we rented a sailboat. We were supposed to enjoy some champagne on the boat, but because of the speed and the waves we could do nothing els than to hold on.

The evning continued perfectly. We had burgers for dinner at a beachbar, following drinks, before we jumped of the chairs danish style, to jump into the New Year(?!).
It was a great way to end the exchange stay in Hong Kong with our new friends. From Boracay we all split up, some leaving for home, some staying at Boracay a couple of days more, and me and Cecilie were backpacking a couple more weeks in Asia before heading home to cold Denmark.
