After some days of partying and the crazy full moon party at Koh Phangan, we needed some days to relax and sleep before heading north to Chiang Mai and the jungle. Therefor we joined our new group of friends to the small island Koh Tao, next to Koh Phangan.
We spent some days snorkeling, driving scooters around the island, and enjoying the white sandy beaches and the crystal clear water.
We went diving one of the days, hoping to see a Whaleshark or two.. but no luck this time either.

One of the evnings on the beach, we bought one of these thai lanterns and sent it into the stars. I´ve always wanted to to that!

Where to stay:
Most of the dive resort give you free room if you dive with them.
We stayed at Big Blue Dive Resort, which is perfectly placed on the beach.
How to get there:
Go by bus from Bangkok to Chumphon, and from there by boat to the islands Koh Tao, Koh Phangan or Koh Samui.We bought a bus+boat ticket in Bangkok.
