A   different   Christmas   Eve

We replaced snow, christmastree, mums homecooked food and family with beach, palms, sun, beer and friends. It was definitly a different christmas celebration, and for most of us it was the first christmas not being home with our families.

We startet the morning with a coffee and breakfast on the beach.

Beautiful beautiful El Nido

In Hong Kong we´ve already decided that we should not buy presents for everyone, we should have "secret santa". We wrote all the names for the people going to El Nido, and pulled the patch who would give to whom.

Table full of presents

Because of all the different cultures that were gathers, some of us were Norwegian, some Dans, Bulgarian, French and Swiss, we were not sure what to eat. So the decision ended on a whole roasted pig with a big red apple in its mouth.

Not bad view to have on christmas at all

After food and present exchange we sang some songs, drank some rum and fired up some fireworks. A perfect ending to a different Christmas Eve.
