Don't do an organized tour. Just take the local bus to Maipu, rent your bike from Mr.Hugo - who also gives you a map over the wineries, and bike around.

Where to eat:

Ochocepas has delicious pasta's, and an extremly good Rib Eye steak with sea salt.

Where to stay:

Damajuana hostel. Cool hostel, with a pool and BBQs almost every night. Lots of people, lots of fun, and a good place for a pre-party.

How to get there:

We took a 35 (!) hour direct bus from Iguazu falls, 1300 Arg. pesos (1500nok).
There`s also direct buses from Buenos Aires, Santiago and Cordoba.
